One of the most popular New Year’s resolutions is to eat more healthily. Frome Nursing Home has recently been totally refurbished, and is now helping others to do the same to their bodies. Over 60s can come and enjoy home-made healthy foods for FREE at the home this month.
In December, the home had a very successful Christmas meal for the local community, but now they are thinking far more healthily. On 12th January, the home is opening its doors once more for visitors to come and enjoy a number of home-made smoothies and milkshakes, as well as some of our very own fruit and vegetables.
Maggie Rhodes, Home Manager, said to us “We are lucky enough to have so many people at the home who have always enjoyed growing their own fruit and vegetable. It’s not just about being healthy but helping those who live at Frome Nursing Home to continue to do things they thoroughly enjoy. An event like this is great to show off their hard work, as well helping people start 2017 in the healthiest way possible.”
If you or someone you know is over the age of sixty and would be interested in coming along to the free health-boosting event, then please call 01373 468 020 by 11th January. The event starts at 2pm on 12th January at the home on Styles Hill in Frome.
Frome Nursing Home supports up to 60 individuals with various nursing and residential needs and is currently recruiting nurses and care workers to join its award winning team. Frome Nursing Home currently also has room to expand its family.
